Rev. Seth Botts

I’m Seth Botts, the Pastor of FREE Recovery Community – Chicago. I've been sober since April 28, 2018, and it has been a transformative path ever since. Before sobriety, I lost a six-figure job, experienced homelessness, and even spent a few years in prison. Through the 12 steps and the unwavering support of a community, I found my way to recovery, with my faith in God being the cornerstone of this journey.

As a pastor, my mission is to break the silence around addiction and create a safe, welcoming space for anyone ready to embrace recovery. I’m passionate about FREE Recovery Community because I believe that a community anchored in spirituality can truly be transformative. Currently, I’m involved with FREE online, but my vision is to bring this incredible community to Chicago, building a local network where we can support, encourage, and uplift each other every step of the way. In my free time, you can find me diving into a good book, exploring new places through travel, or hitting the gym to stay active and balanced. I’m excited to serve as the Pastor of FREE Recovery Community – Chicago and to work alongside others dedicated to creating a space of healing, hope, and lasting transformation.
